New Blog: The Wise Voter’s Reading List

5:54 pm,

I’ve started a new blog over here. Like most of my projects, it was born out of frustration. When evaluating political candidates, we are constantly obsessed with things that don’t matter: what drugs the candidates did while growing up, what scandalous thing their old friend did last week, what their wife/husband said yesterday…such non-events get showered with media attention. Voter polls shift wildly in response to these things, none of which concern a person’s ability to run the country.

I fear that people’s votes are too easily influenced by Things That Don’t Matter. This blog is a collection of articles that shift attention back onto things that do matter: The Wise Voter’s Reading List.
